How to View Local Languages in Opera Mini Mobile Browser

With its simple user interface and highly reduced bandwidth, Opera Mini has evolved into the favorite browser of smartphone users. With more than 50,000,000 downloads in Google Play alone, Opera Mini holds a firm place in the market.
Smart phone users may have experienced the difficulty in viewing local languages in Opera Mini which shows nothing but an array of boxes while displaying local languages. It irritates us many times, when we see our screen like this.

We can easily make our Opera Mini Browser to show these languages in just a couple of short and easy steps. So, let's start.

  1. Open Opera Mini and in the address bar type "about:config" (without quotes) and tap "go".
  2. The below screen comes up. Scroll down till you find "Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts". From the drop down menu select "Yes" and hit "Save".

  3. That's it. Enjoy reading your mother tongue from your favorite browser. Your screen will be lile,
I hope this small tip might have helped a few of you. Thanks for reading. Keep coming back.:)
